System requirements

Learn about the system requirements needed to successfully join and participate in sessions, depending on your role.

If you're looking for help actually joining a session, see the various ways you can join (these may vary depending on the organizers settings) as well as Join a webinar session. If you are running into some unexpected snags, see I can't join my session.

Attendees

If you are using an up-to-date system, you will mostly likely be just fine and able to join without any issues (your system likely already meets or exceeds the below requirements). However, if you are using older devices or software, it really is important to take a few minutes and go through the relevant information below so you're not scrambling come go-time and can have a smooth, successful, stress-free experience.

If internet speed is of concern, you can test your speed with third-party products such as https://www.speedtest.net/.

  • GoTo Webinar or GoTo desktop app (JavaScript enabled)
  • GoTo mobile app (Not supported for recorded on-demand sessions)
Hardware
  • 2GB of RAM (minimum), 4GB or more of RAM (recommended)
  • Microphone and speakers (if speaking, USB headset recommended)

  • iOS 15.1 or newer
  • Android OS 8 (Oreo) or newer
